Sad news. I liked his videos because in spite of the hype and bravado he showed that he made mistakes and is human like the rest of us.

On his way to Alaska to tape his TV show, Tred Barta recently suffered a rare occurrence called a spinal stroke. He is currently paralyzed from just below the chest down.
