Rain, rain, rain

Up until a week ago we were very hot and very dry. What a week. Since Monday, I've had 14" of rain in 6 days @ my house. The folks over near Ormond Beach / Daytona Beach have had 28" of rain. More is on the way too. These are not even tropical storms just lows and seabreeze collisions. Holy moly!

We've had what I'd call almost perfect amounts of rain so far here in eastern NC. :)

I've been watching the weather down in Florida and saw you guys got 'saturated'. :D

Had a big ole patch of red and yellow headed right at us this afternoon but it turned green and went to the South. All we got was the humidity.

Well, I got another 1.7" last night with more due this p.m. Feast or famine.

We hadn't had rain in almost two weeks, and the garden was on the verge, but we had a nice steady rain thats been going for about 30hrs now. I'm expecting a big jump in growth now.

The wiregrass in mine was getting to a point where something needed to be done so I put my foot down and told that good lookin woman to go out there and hoe that garden while I go to work. :mad:

She did too. :D
