This area is saturated with them, this is the 4th I caught in my barn (I missed one). Nobody traps anymore because of changing interests of the kids around here.
The problem is, when rabies comes through, it hits this area hard. Usually about 2 people in every town get bit, and have to get the shots.
Two people just got bit by a coyote about 30 miles from here, and it turned out to be rabid.
