Wanting to reline one of mine and can't get the cap off for nothing. :mad:

I found a rubber pad from the kitchen to get a good grip on the cap, and have put out some serious torque, and can only get it to twist about half of what is needed. I have some serious gripping power so lack of strength ain't the problem. :rolleyes:

Any ideas?

I have had the same thing happen too a cheapo outfit. I took a pair of pliers and wrenched as hard as I dared, but I couldn't get it loose either. I was trying not to break it, but I may go after it again with a determination to 'fix it good' one way or another. :rolleyes:

This thing is pizzing me off.

I'm gettin ready to put the boat over and still haven't got it open. I've been very careful not to bend it so far but I've been considering puttin my splittin maul thru it. :D
