We are making some Salsa and canning it in Mason Jars. The garden is about played out. Lots of Creole tomatos :) . Been eating Squash for weeks. Cucumber salad too.
How'd ol Hank say ? " We can plow, fish, skin a buck ...... all day long." ;)

Just ate some salsa. Bought some of those yellow mexican corn chips. The salsa was very good. To make it, we used some fresh cilantro, organic garlic, jalapeno peppers, white onion, of course the tomatos from the garden, salt, lemon juice sprinkle, and I think a touch of sugar.
She cooked it down, then boiled the mason jars.

I like tomatos, canned and fresh, but I hate the smell of the canning process.
