as biased as CNN news is/was on the presidental election, I have to admit: Anderson Cooper really did a Class A excellent job covering Hurricane Katrina. He spent alot of time in Waveland, MS.
I was in the hood yesterday in New Orleans to change a warranty compressor. I don't go there much. When I do I am very nervous and my Ridgid drill soft case contains more than a Ridgid drill. But it still looks like a ghost town. A black girl was walking down the street and she waved and said hi. Those people are trying. Judging from what I hear every day and see occasionally, that place will not ever come back. I think it is for the most part, over. I still saw some X marks on front of houses, from the search teams. I sneak over there occasionally in the outer parts to make some quick money, but I am very scared indeed.
