Swamp, I can click on the link and the picture comes up. I did it like you said up in the technical board. I clicked on the paper clip and uploaded and when it finished I dragged and dropped the picture onto the reply box.

Good fish and nice shot. You sure don't look like your carrying the extra weight you complain about.

That picture was taken at the end of July 08. I had dropped about 25-30 # in a month by working outside and getting in some hardcore fishing instead of sitting on my ass and eating anything that the current brought past me. Oddly enough I gained 15 # after "2 a days" started. I wasn't working as hard at football practice as I was otherwise. I'm 253# as of yesterday and looking forward to some summertime weight loss. I'll try to keep it off this time.

But thanks for saying so!

Alan there is no need to drag the image into the reply box. Just click on the image and it will automatically upload into the reply box.

André,
Would you mind telling us what species that is that you've shot?

Andre's kill looks like a chamois, or gamsbock in German. Note the letzte Bissen (last bite) placed in the animal's mouth as part of the European hunting custom.

Sure Bill. It's a class 1 chamois buck, aged 14. I shot it in the Austrian Alps in 2007. I already had hunted the Scottish Highlands several times but this was my first go at (real) mountain hunting at 2500 m (8200 ft). Physically, very demanding, you really have to earn your trophy and big, or small there's no such thing as an easy one !

YJ, you're correct about the last bite (NB : one has also been shoved under my hat band).
