Thanks for your prayers

I asked for prayers a while ago for my Father who was have diabetes attacks. Things have worked out well. My sister was hired to take care of my parents and is keeping my dad on his diet and helping him with recovery with his broken arm which is healing but he is stubborn and hates rehab. I have been taking him out for a few hours in the evening 3 times a week to watch my son's play softball and that is something he looks forward to. He's 78 and is doing ok.

Dave, that is great to hear. My Dad's diabetes has been getting the best of him unfortunately. He moved to a nursing home last week. It is 86 miles away one way. His house is only 8 miles away but this was the only place that would take him with his unique set of conditions. His kidneys no longer function so he is on dialysis. This winter he was treated for pneumonia and now permanently breathes through a trache tube. He will be 72 next month.

I'm sorry to here that Chris. I will keep your father in my prayers. This season of our lives will be to me about the hardest I think I will ever go through.
