GB,
In 1998 I shared an elk camp in SW Colorado with Bob. One of my favorite pictures from that hunt is me in camp flanked by Bob and his son.
In case you did not know, Bob came from the old school. He formed Redwing archery which was bought by Brunswick in the late 1970's. He knew Fred Bear as a personal friend. Compound bows were still an ugly thought in some engineer's mind. In short, he knew traditional archery.
In camp Bob showed me his latest line of take-down recurves. They were quite impressive. He offered to sell me one at a greatly reduced cost and regretably I did not follow through.
At the time Bob was pursuing retirement and discussed his son taking over the business. I bet you will not go wrong buying a Bob Lee recurve.
