My son just bought a new SX3 and I gotta tell ya, I'm impressed with it so far. He looked at Benelli M2, Beretta Urika, Browning Gold & Silver, and Remington 11-87 shotguns and fell in love at first sight with that SX3. We brought it home and detail stripped it for a good cleaning and then went to the skeet range with it the last two nights. The manual states it will not cycle one ounce light target loads, but this one has chewed through 150 rounds in the last two nights with zero problems. It seems simple enough on the inside for a gas gun, is really light and responsive for a semi-auto .12 gauge chambered for 3" shells. I have two Benelli M1S90 .12 gauges to compare it with and so far this gun is looking and feeling pretty good. 150 shells isn't a torture test and we'll see how it pans out in the long run, but right now it is two thumbs up.

MO-GC, Yep, that is a lot of shotgun for the money! I too looked at them ad watched Flanigan shoot one, I was impressed to say the least. I have never been much of a Winchester shotgun man (model 97 nostalgia reasons yes) but this Winchester is simply to behold. It just might be that Winchester has finally gotten things right with their shotguns. :D

The SX3 is made at the FN plant in Belgium, the same place the Brownings are made. The build quality is there and the design seems simple and solid. With that said, it is not as reliable as my Benelli M1's are. The gun has given a few fail to feed malf's with the cheap Wal-Mart ammo. This particular gun as been very carefully cleaned four times now, several brands of ammo tried, shot at least 700+ times now, and it will still give the occasional FTF malfunction. I like it a lot, but it ain't no Benelli...
