How do you like it, GF?

It's terrible! Cost me 2 arrows with that Robin Hood, 'cuz it was my first one and I can't stand the thought of separating the two!
Seriously, though... It seems to be built as sturdily as you could possibly build a pin sight. The low-light brightness of the .19/.20 pins is excellent. I can see the #1 pin in darkness where you'd never make out a deer against the background unless maybe you had fresh snow on the ground and a few extra stars overhead. And they're small enough to really improve my accuracy over the sight that I started with. I really thought the photo-sensitive housing over the FO lines was a gimmick when I first saw the picture of this thing, but I honestly think it's a help in broad daylight, especially with my prematurely-aging eyeballs.
And of course, having the markings there for sight adjustment sure beats eyeballing everything...
The only thing about it that didn't thrill me was the cost of getting in the door with it, but I think I did OK by scoring it for a flat $100. So... I guess I'd have to give it 10 thumbs up, on account of my being all thumbs....
Actually, though.. I did just think of 1 minor quibble, and that's that I can't see for sure if I could switch the order of the pins so that they go green/yellow/red on the first three, instead of green/red/yellow. I read a piece where the author pointed out that red pins disappear first in low light, then yellow, then green, so his recommendation was to keep green up top, since you can shoot in poorer light at closer ranges, and ought to forget about the longer shots in the poorer light. So if I can figure out how to make that one swap, I probably will.
Otherwise, though, I can't imagine anything thast it might be lacking.

They make one with 7pins but I can't afford it yet.

I'm having trouble figuring out how to put even the 5 to good use
#1 - 23 yards.
#2 - 30 yards.
#3 - 38 yards.
#3 would be set for 40, but I ran outta yard :D
I was ON, yesterday.... I even pegged a nock (on purpose) with that #3 pin, and I was just tearing up the old shaft that I was shooting at....

I set the first one on 20 and then every ten on out.
Sometimes I go to the sandpits for real long fun. :)

How far away can you hold for without moving the whole sight?
It'd be kinda fun to have a sight you could slap on there with just one pin set for wa-hayyyyyyy on out there.... Something totally crazy like about 200 yards... have a balloon-popping contest or something--each guy takes a dozen shots :D

I dunno exactly. The way mine's set now, I think 70yds would be bottomed out if I can even get that. Once I've got all five pins set right, I really doan like monkeying. I know the sight could be configured to get more range but the 20yd pin is the most often used hunting and I like to keep that one in the comfort zone for my eyes, not dead centered like Twanger does but not jammed to the top either. That's my main negative about going to seven pins.
One trick for more range is to sight thru the triangle in the string over the peep.
Personally, a point is reached where it's for grits and giggles anyway ... and at that point I have a LOT more fun winging with a recurve. The fun for me in a compound is precision accuracy. Beyond that, recurves win the 'fun to shoot' category hands down. :p

Indeed!
I know it would be smart of me to get out in the woods and practice shooting the pins at unknown ranges, but I just can't see myself pulling out the compound for an afternoon of stump shooting
The compound is my new favorite rifle, really....
FWIW, my #1 pin is a little higher than dead-center, but I'm never really conscious of that fact when I'm shooting with it. The peep and the white outline on the pin guard seem to cover the alignment pretty well, so thus far I haven't noticed any need to think about my sight picture differently for pin #1, #2 or #3...
But maybe they're all too close to dead-center to matter and I'll find myself making adjustments if I ever get to the club and take a few pokes from the 'Top-Gun' line...
