Interesting case. I wonder who does have the right of way between two emergency vehicles on different assignments?

IF I was that trooper's Boss, I don't think I would put him out on the road for a very long time. I might not fire him, but I sure would have him learn a few things before I let him loose again.
Who is gonna come to your aid when you need them if all of the Paramedics in the State find out that this is how they will be treated when they aren't needed. If you've sprung a leak and it's RED then I sure as hell don't want one of my fellow Troopers Stopping the Paramedic on the way to me for anything.

Or if the LEO was on the way to an assignment why he had time for such pettiness instead of completing the mission? I suspect he was on simple patrol.
Dash cam shows he went to a call, but then decided to run down the meatwagon instead of getting involved on-scene. From what the trooper says early on in the dashcam video, the EMT driver must have flipped him off or something... Probably because he scared the snot out of the poor guy....
That's the kind of trooper I've been lucky enough to avoid all these years...

There are arrogant bastards everywhere.
I hope they knock this guy down a peg or two.
I usually come down on the side of the cops, but these guys are both professionals that have to work together.
On a side note, I hate these kind of articles, because they essentially try the person in the press without proper representation - the author of the article is free to spin it any way they want to.
