No, I'm not really going to give you $1K, but if you had $1,000 to spend tomorrow and can only spend it on a shotgun and/or shotgun accessories what would you buy and why??? Would you buy brand new or used??

A good used Sigarms Aurora TR 20 sxs in 20 ga and I'd have to add some to that $1000.. probably another $600 or so... b rizzini hard to beat for the money... LL Bean used to import these but I don't think that they do any longer.

CZ Bobwhite in 28 ga. and a flat or two of shells.

or

Remington 870 Wingmaster LDR?? (the limited edition they came out with that has the engraving and skeleton pg cap)

or

A Browning Cynergy 20 ga. at a local shop (but I'd have to come up with another $250)

or

aahhhh....that's why I hate these type questions!

For me, I'd probably by $300 worth of Ammo/Components to get me through the next 12 months. I think supply will catch up with demand in 10-12 months and hopefully prices will come down from that.

With the remaining $700 I'd like to get a older classic repeater in 12 gauge. A Winchester 12, An A5 or perhaps an older Ithaca 37. I think there are some good deals on the older pumps and autos right now.

I would shop the used gun racks and buy up any excellent used Remington 870 Wingmasters, Remington 1100s, Ithaca Model 37s or a Browning Superposed. Then I would wait for the values to go up. All the best...

I would buy a Savage M24 .22 Magnum over 3-inch 20 gauge for woods loafing here on the farm.

I've been thinking lately of Re-loading, I use to do all my own back in high school with my hunting friends and I have the time to do it again. Save some money. Thousand bucks I can put together a great set up. Plus supplies.

I could get rid of that $1,000.00 without a problem depending on what was available. All the best...
