What do you use? I'm looking for a sharpener for my old Muzzys. I have a sharpening block for my son's Zwickeys. It has 2 stones at the correct angle for a 2-blade head. I'd like to find something like that for my 3-blade Muzzys.

There are stones for that. Back when I had Muzzy 3 blades, I used my Spyderco carbon flat bar. Under a kitchen faucet trickle, I would lightly drag each blade and they were sharper than the finest German surgical equip..

Today I still use that same method, but with Magnus Stingers. If they are real dull, I first use a yellow diamond stone. Always use water- No oil.

I can only wish I were that good at it. :o

This one was a gift knapped for me by Paleo Aleo of http://www.paleoplanet.net/

I've knapped some sharp obsidian points but a successful fluted clovis evades me for the time being.

One day ... ;)

I sharpen everything I can on a fine wetstone with oil, and if I can't get it done on that I use one of the cheapo carbide angle sharpeners.

Similar to this one.

It's not very good if you want a razor edge, but it's better than leaving the edge dull.

Another trick I use, is to have an old sawed off hunk of aluminum arrow 10"-12" or so to screw the b-head into for a handle to help sharpen it. Not too big and not too small.

I've even held the replacable b-head blades in needlenose pliers to sharpen them on a stone. It doesn't take much with those thin blades to get them extremely sharp.
